01Who is responsible
Tidy is provided by Artem Chehowsky, 123 Avenue Dzerjinskogo, Minsk, Belarus. The same person is responsible for the processing described here. For privacy requests, email chehowsky@gmail.com or use our contact form. This policy covers the Tidy website and mobile app.
02Your account and household
We process the information you provide to run Tidy: account and sign-in details, household settings, rooms, tasks, schedules, habits, completion history and content you choose to add. Depending on the sign-in method, we receive an account identifier and the profile information made available by that provider. Some use begins with an anonymous Firebase account.
Shared household content is available to other members according to the app’s sharing settings. Do not add someone else’s private information unless you are entitled to share it.
03Web onboarding and transfer to the app
Your answers are saved in your browser so that you can continue the questionnaire. This local draft remains until you clear website data or replace it. When you save a plan for the app, we store the answers, language, selected habits and measurement context on Firebase and create a private transfer code.
The code expires after 7 days. Expired transfer records are removed by a daily cleanup job; expiry is enforced even before cleanup. Import requires an authenticated app session, which may be anonymous. Once claimed, the code can be used again only by the same account. Imported settings become part of your app data. Anyone with an unused code may claim it: keep the code and link private.
04Website analytics and advertising measurement
Google Analytics 4 and advertising measurement start automatically when you visit, unless you have disabled them in Privacy settings. Cookies and browser storage hold persistent identifiers to recognise the same browser, measure visits and steps in the questionnaire, and understand which campaigns lead to saved plans and app usage. This is pseudonymous measurement, not anonymous measurement.
We collect page and event names, language, device and browser information, approximate region, campaign parameters and, when advertising measurement is enabled, ad-click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid and wbraid. A random funnel ID and campaign labels may travel with your saved plan into the app to connect later events. Opening an app store is recorded as a click, not proof of an installation.
The website’s GA cookies are configured to expire after up to 365 days without renewal on every visit. Our attribution record expires after 30 days; a new campaign may replace it. An explicit privacy choice is stored for 180 days. Browser settings can shorten these periods. Google’s event retention is governed by the Analytics property settings and Google’s policies.
Use Privacy settings in the header or the button below to disable future website measurement or allow analytics without advertising measurement. Disabling removes this site’s accessible analytics cookies and local attribution record; it does not automatically erase events already received by Google or attribution already imported into the app. Contact us to request deletion. Clearing all website data also removes your saved choice.
We do not send support email addresses, message contents or private transfer codes in website analytics events. Google Signals and personalised advertising are disabled in the website tag. Automatic collection is not recorded in our transfer data as your affirmative consent. This notice does not replace any consent required by applicable law.
05Analytics and diagnostics in the app
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand onboarding, feature use, subscriptions and purchases, and Firebase Crashlytics to investigate crashes and technical failures. Data can include app or device identifiers, app version, operating system, usage events, purchase status and diagnostic details. Website Privacy settings control the website; they do not switch off the app’s SDKs. Contact us about app data or use the privacy controls available on your device.
06AI features and uploaded content
When you use AI features, the prompts, relevant task or home context, conversation content and any images you submit may be sent through our server to the configured AI provider. Providers supported by Tidy include DeepSeek, Perplexity and OpenAI; the provider used depends on the feature, availability and configuration. Their own processing and retention policies apply to data they receive. Do not submit sensitive information or images of other people that you are not authorised to share. AI is not needed simply to browse this website.
07Support, notifications and payments
When you contact support, we process your reply email, subject, message and relevant technical information to handle your request. Website requests are stored in Firebase and forwarded to our support channel in Telegram. Messages sent from the app may also include account and app information needed to investigate the issue. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or transfer codes.
Notifications use device permissions and, where applicable, notification tokens. You can manage notifications in system settings. Purchases are handled by the store or payment provider shown at checkout, including Apple, Google Play, RuStore or YooKassa where offered. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription or entitlement status; the website currently does not take payments, and our contact form is not a payment channel.
08Purposes, providers and international processing
We use information to deliver the service you request, synchronise your data, support shared households, respond to support requests, verify purchases, prevent abuse, fix errors and measure product and campaign performance. Providing requested features and support relates to performing our agreement with you; security and service reliability relate to our legitimate interests; statutory records may be retained to meet legal obligations. Consent is required for certain processing in some jurisdictions. An opt-out mechanism does not remove those requirements.
Google/Firebase provides hosting, authentication, database, analytics and diagnostics services. Telegram handles support delivery. Sign-in, AI, app-store and payment providers receive the information needed for the features you use. Data may be processed outside your country, including in Belarus and countries where these providers operate. Contact us for details of the recipients and safeguards applicable to your data. We do not publish your private plans or sell support messages.
09Retention and security
Account and household information is kept while needed to provide the service. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle and follow up on the request; transaction and security records may need to remain for legal obligations, abuse prevention or disputes. Ask us to delete information that is no longer needed. Removing the app does not by itself delete server data or cancel a subscription.
We use access controls, encrypted network connections and limits on sensitive endpoints. Website anti-abuse counters use hashed request identifiers and expire within approximately 2 hours, with daily cleanup. Hosting and service providers may separately process technical logs, including IP addresses. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10Your rights and how to contact us
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority. Contact chehowsky@gmail.com or use our contact form. Tell us which account or request is involved; we may need to verify that the data belongs to you. We respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within one month for requests under the GDPR.
11Children and policy updates
Tidy is a household planning tool, not a service designed for children to provide personal information independently. Adults should manage household sharing and avoid adding unnecessary information about children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal data that should be removed.
We will publish updates on this page with a revised date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes that require consent will not be authorised merely by updating this policy.
